Christchurch Golf Club Overview

The Christchurch Golf Club, the second oldest club in New Zealand was established in 1873. The course is conveniently located - only a 10 min drive from Christchurch city and a 20 min drive from the airport.

The first nine holes were developed for play in 1900 and by 1910 it became a full-fledged 18-hole course with the additional land that the club acquired. Post the 2011 earthquake, the course was given an upgrade by Peter Thomson. And the club has also recently added on a pro shop, driving range, practice green and a new clubhouse.

The Christchurch Golf course provides a prestigious venue for small and large events, and is a popular stop for golfers.
