Faldo Course, Mission Hills Shenzhen Overview
The Faldo Course in Mission Hills, Shenzhen, opened in 1999 and was designed by the famous Nick Faldo. This is China’s first “stadium course” stretching over 7000 yards and is home to a spectacular island green. The picturesque setting of mature trees and open vistas is highlighted by grassed mounding and earthen amphitheaters along with large, deep, irregular shaped bunkers.
The 15th and 16th holes of the Faldo golf course are two of Asia’s most challenging holes and have been the turning point for golfers during tournaments. The course is also known for hosting the annual Faldo Series Asia.
