Turkey Golf Information

Turkey's now become a must-see destination and with good reason too. It's steeped in history, starting from the early civilizations, its capital Istanbul has interesting sights and its bazaars and cafe's plenty of character. Its natural wonders in Anatolia and Pamukkale are outstanding. And its mediterranean weather makes it a good place to visit all the year through.

The main reason for Turkey to qualify as a golfing destination has to be Belek in the Antalya province. Home to designs by Colin Montgomerie, Perry Dye, Nick Faldo & Peter Thomson, the courses offer challenge and variety.

Turkey Fast Facts

Both Turkey's capital Ankara & historical city Istanbul are connected very well by flights from all across Europe and main cities in Asia. Turkish Airlines flies direct to Istanbul from Delhi and Mumbai.

Belek being on the Mediterranean is good all year round although there is a preference from April through to September when the temperatures are milder.

Explore Istanbul & Ephesus. When in Belek , make day trips to Perge & Aspendos. Visit Pamukkale for some outstanding natural wonders called "Cotton Castles."
