- September to November & March to May are the warmer months and great for outdoor exploration and activities. (Max Daytime Temp: 10 to 25 degrees)

- June to August is skiing high season. Only a few courses in the South Island may be affected by snow during this time. (Max Daytime Temp: 5 to 18 degrees)
