One of the classic links courses where people love to go and play, Portmarnock is amongst the sterner tests of links golf that one can find. With the sea on three sides, the wind is invariably a factor – but by no means the only one. Each of the holes by their design and layout is strong – in fact, there is nothing weak here, even as there are no tricks or surprises. The greens are fast and true – it will be nice to have a hot putter working for you.
