The De Zalze Golf Course is situated within the De Zalze Golf Winelands estate in the foothills of the Helderberg Mountains, not too far from Cape Town. The region is prime wine country with three large wine farms surrounding the golf course. The course is one of the most picturesque parkland layouts designed by the prolific Peter Matkovich. Peter Matkovich wants the golfer to be accurate as he plays here, with water coming into play on several holes, including the Blaauwklippen river that winds through the property.
