Other considerations include the kind of resorts on offer in either location, proximity to other activities – eating/drinking, massages and nightlife. If you want to be at a beach side resort Danang is better suited. There is a beach in Hoi An as well, but removed from the main town where the rest of the action is. Overall Hoi An has much more of a holiday vibe than Danang. There is no shortage of sports bars, lounges and massage places in both Hoi An and Danang. The main Hoi An old town area being compact, is a little easier to navigate around. A taxi may be needed to get around Danang.

Leaving out even one of the seven golf courses in Danang may leave you short of doing justice to golf in Danang. That said, there is little denying that Hoiana Shores, Ba Na Hills and Laguna Golf Lang Co form the essential Danang golf experience. The uniqueness of these tracks is the differentiator without belittling the likes of Montgomerie Links, BRG Danang or Vinpearl. Mind you, these are absolutely crackers as well.

5. How long should your Danang Golf Tour be ?
That is truly subjective and as you would guess, depends on what your objective is. If you are looking for a short golf break from a nearby Asian country – a minimum of 3 nights stay with 3 rounds of golf is about right.
For someone coming in from a long distance and has picked Danang as the focal point of the Vietnam golf experience a minimum of 5 nights should be budgeted. To play all the 7 Danang golf courses, a minimum of 8 nights stay with a day off in between is recommended.
