Many would argue that England’s Golf Coast is as good a golf destination if not better than all the others in England, Scotland and Ireland put together. Not without reason – in fact, this region has the best concentration of championship golf courses and is home to as many as 3 current Open Championship venues situated in close proximity to each other – The 2014 Open Championship host – Royal Liverpool, 2012 Host – Royal Lytham & St. Anne’s ( which was won by Ernie Els) and Royal Birkdale. Bear in mind that these are just the top recognised names and there are plenty of other classics – Formby & Hillside to name a few, which add to the allure of golf in England's Golf Coast.

England’s Golf Coast has a variety of attractions, a gorgeous countryside and a spectacular coastline all of which can be explored from England’s resort Southport or the Beatles hometown in Liverpool. Liverpool obviously will conjure images of a spectacular football game– whether in a boisterous English pub or at Anfield. With strong connectivity and multitude of accommodation options, there is little difficulty in making a golf holiday here and probably no better time than during the 2014 Open Championships.

BEST TIME TO GOLF IN ENGLAND'S GOLF COAST: April to September, although the English weather is famously unpredictable and you can expect it to swing from a perfectly clear day to a muggy one the next.
