Easily amongst the most popular wildlife destinations in the world, even the most critical of wildlife travellers cannot be disappointed with what Kruger offers as an eco-system with its sheer size, the wilderness, the bushveld and other vegetation, rivers and streams and unquestionably the wildlife.

There is always a question of how much time to spend – and the answer depends on what one seeks. It is possible to explore various parts of the park by splitting your stay within – there are some high quality secluded luxurious lodges which can add another dimension to the experience and equally well there are zones which may not be as popular due to limited sightings, but quite engaging if one just wants to feel the wilderness.

Being in the wilderness, does not mean being left in it, especially for the golfer and there is good golf in Kruger. There are 2 high quality choices near the park – The Leopard Creek Country Club and the Hans Merensky Golf Course. While the Leopard Creek Country Club has restricted entry and is accessible only if staying in certain lodges, the Hans Merensky is easily accessible and makes for an enchanting golfing experience.
