All the major cities - Bangkok, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai & Koh Samui, have great golf courses and each of them is a destination in itself. The options are plenty, the service levels are excellent and given that Thailand is a great leisure destination, golf holidays combined with sightseeing tours or beach trips are favourites with golfers.
From beginners to seasoned golfers, Thailand’s golf courses do not disappoint. You can choose to start with easy, relaxed layouts and work your way up to the championship layouts. The golf courses in Thailand are well maintained, and almost all have full-service menus - with clubhouses, restaurants, pro-shops, driving ranges, caddies, and buggies.
There are many stay & play options if you’re not keen on staying in the cities. Most courses are located around 60 minutes from the city center. For shorter driving times to the courses, the smaller towns like Hua Hin, Pattaya, and Chiang Mai are good options.
