Vattanac Golf Course Overview
Vattanac Golf Resort is Phnom Penh’s latest golf addition, which opened for business in 2019. Planned as a luxury development, and located about 15 km from the city centre, on completion, the development will see around 1580 villas, a hotel, shopping, recreation & sports facilities, and a school alongside the 2 Nick Faldo-designed golf courses.
The 2 Vattanac golf courses are the East Course & the West Course, both of the same championship quality as the other Faldo design in Cambodia, the Angkor Golf Resort in Siem Reap. Water is a defining feature at the Vattanac resort complex, with many water bodies around the courses and the buildings oriented towards the waterfront. You will also find models of historic Angkor sights interspersed across the Vattanac layout, enhancing the Cambodian experience.
The course is a welcome entrant to the golfing scene in Phnom Penh, offering a well-done clubhouse with locker rooms, a pro shop and practice range.
